A  contemporary new-build home in the heart of the Old Bursledon Conservation Area.

Our courtyard house is a highly-sustainable contemporary new build home in the Old Bursledon Conservation Area. The low-impact scheme is designed around a central courtyard with a rainwater harvesting pond and features renewable energy systems, green roofs and wildlife habitat gardens.

The design successfully re-interprets traditional features of the conservation area in a contemporary manner. The dwelling features a basement to provide additional accommodation whilst mitigating impact on the landscape and the countryside.
