The Home Studio
This bespoke handcrafted oak frame and glazed studio offers a unique blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern design. The studio is elevated to capture panoramic views of the garden and surrounding fields, making it a serene retreat that connects with nature.
The carefully crafted oak frame provides a warm, organic feel while large glazed openings allow natural light to flood the interior, enhancing the sense of openness and creating a seamless connection with the outdoors.
The combination of these materials ensures that the space remains timeless and in harmony with its surroundings, providing a perfect environment for both work and relaxation.

Ground Floor and Roof Extension – London
The project involved significant re-planning, including both a ground floor and roof extension, transforming the traditional three-bedroom Victorian terrace into a more spacious and functional home. The design reclaimed London stock bricks from the existing garden wall to create a contrasting feature in the new side-return extension, merging modern design with the home’s historical character. On the upper level, the roof extension was carefully planned to accommodate two bedrooms and a bathroom, maximizing space while maintaining the property’s charm and style.
Client Feedback:
“It was a real pleasure working with Alex on our designing our family home. The project was taken on and completed really quickly and he made sure to keep in contact with us along the way. Our side return and loft extension could not have looked better. He also spent time along the project helping manage the building contractor and advising on the spec of materials that were being used. There were a couple of minor site issues (being a very old house) and Alex was great at managing this and making sure things could progress.”

Ground Floor and Roof Extension – London
Significant re-planning, a ground floor, and roof extension to a traditional three bedroom Victorian terrace home in London.
We reclaimed the London stock bricks from the existing garden wall to provide a contrasting feature in this modern side-return extension. We neatly planned out two bedrooms and one bathroom within the roof extension.
