This project involves the extension of the ground floor and the addition of a roof extension, designed to enhance both space and natural light. The design embraces an industrial aesthetic, prominently featuring Crittall-style glazing. These sleek, black-framed steel windows and doors introduce a bold, contemporary character while maintaining a timeless appeal.

The ground floor extension opens up the living areas, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. By employing expansive Crittall glazing panels, the design maximises the influx of natural daylight, reducing the reliance on artificial lighting and fostering a bright, airy atmosphere throughout the home.

The roof extension not only adds valuable additional space but also incorporates carefully positioned skylights and Crittall-style glazed elements to flood the upper level with daylight. This approach enhances the spatial quality, creating an uplifting environment that connects occupants with the outside world.

Overall, the project successfully blends industrial design elements with a focus on light and openness. The combination of robust steel glazing and thoughtfully designed extensions creates a modern yet welcoming home, optimising natural daylight and improving the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the property
