This highly sustainable eco-garage has been designed and delivered in a rural location in Hampshire. The green oak frame structure and energy-efficient building fabric, roofed with traditional clay tiles, has been carefully crafted to accommodate a private collection of classic and modern cars.
Built with sustainability at its core, the garage features three Tesla Powerwall batteries and is fitted with 30kWh photovoltaic (PV) solar panels across the roof and the garden to the rear. This solar-powered garage generates enough renewable electricity to power the building and charge electric vehicles directly from stored solar energy, making it self-sufficient and off-grid.
The green oak timber frame has been detailed to create individual car bays for each vehicle, providing both aesthetic appeal and functional design. Beyond secure vehicle storage, the eco-friendly car garage includes a range of additional spaces such as a social and entertainment area, WC facilities, garden machinery storage, and a dedicated cider brewing workshop.
This Hampshire-based sustainable development exemplifies how traditional materials and cutting-edge green technology can come together to create an environmentally responsible and stylish building.
